Electrical Tech
Primary Function
The Electrician Tech performs electrical work required for installation and maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, high voltage equipment, Allen-Bradley based machinery, manufacturers’ specifications, and estimates jobs for material and labor.
Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives, 24v control systems, 208/480v 3 phase power and HVAC systems
  • Read and understand written instructions and wiring diagrams
  • PLC programming experience
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and program complicated Allen-Bradley PLC based control systems
  • Possess a record of safe work practices with a team approach
  • Ability to properly use hand tools, shop tools and test equipment
  • Needs excellent problem solving ability, be able to analyze and assess complex information
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems control and repair
  • Ability to multi-task while prioritizing emergency equipment issues
  • Perform breakdown, corrective and preventative maintenance on production equipment
  • Work with engineering and production to learn, repair or modify equipment design
  • Communicate effectively and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Follows standard operating procedure and or tasks
  • Construct, maintain, and repair systems and equipment as needed throughout the facilities
  • Maintain, install, repair, alter or troubleshoot mechanical systems found within the facilities
  • Expected to provide some training for new or less seasoned employees
  • Actively participate on facility projects to support in efforts of facility improvements or moves
  • Ensure all departmental work is done in compliance with documented procedures, and Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines
  • Help in preventive and predictive maintenance program for buildings and grounds, utility/HVAC and process equipment
  • Ensure documents and maintenance documents are maintained
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding all established quality standards

Purchasing Agent
Primary Function
Manage suppliers that supply production components to KMA.
Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Manage and negotiate cost
  • Ensure quality issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
  • Maintain delivery timeliness of suppliers
  • Monitor suppliers business environment
  • Improve suppliers capabilities and capacities
  • Protect Kubota's business interests with suppliers

Mechanical Engineer
Primary Function
Coordinates production processes in the plant. Evaluate production processes and implement improvements in safety, quality and productivity. Prepare production process to accommodate new models.
Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Complete time studies and calculate effienciency of production process
  • Ability to implement projects and improvements on schedule
  • Implement plans to improve production process
  • Ability to track expenses and investments for area of responsibility
  • Good communication (oral and written) for presenting complex ideas
  • Design simple tooling and equipment used in production
  • Implement ECN’s and their impact on production tooling and process equipment
  • Develop spreadsheets to help plan / control production
  • Troubleshoot problems associated with production equipment
  • Negotiation, procurement and installation of new production equipment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Requires enrollment in an accredited program leading to a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Technical Publications & Training Analyst
Job Summary
As an Technical Publications & Training Analyst of Farm and Utility Machinery for Kubota products in Gainesville/Jefferson, Georgia you will be the author/writer on assigned products. You will be responsible for creating and providing service information and training materials, such as Workshop manual, Flat-rate schedule, Maintenance chart, Operator’s manual, new product training materials and service training materials etc., of products produced by Kubota Manufacturing of America Corporation/Kubota Industrial Equipment Corporation to the distributors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide the service staff in distributors with new product and service training.
  • Respond to inquiries from distributors and provide information properly to ensure adequate service.
  • Be engaged in concurrent engineering for service such as serviceability and maintainability in each step of new product development.
  • Develop Special Tools” electrical and/or mechanical service tools” and support equipment to aid in the correct diagnosis and repair of products.
  • Research, identify and create illustrations/animations for service publications.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required (preference in Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences, or Business related degree)
  • 3+ years of direct Product Support work experience in the following areas: Agriculture or construction equipment with emphasis on power trains, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to write and explain technical concepts and repair methods in fluent English. Must be able to report in detail technical investigations
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Experience with technical photography and image manipulation
  • Problem solving skills – being able to analyze information such as images, drawings and graphics to create and communicate repair solutions
  • Technical skills – proven experience with hands-on repair (assembly and disassembly) of agricultural/turf machinery equipment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Project Management and Leadership Skills

We are recruiting for the three phases of our internship
  • Orientation Intern - In the orientation phase, all interns will be assigned to work directly in one of the Genba areas for 12 weeks. Interns will learn about KMA products while working in logistics or manufacturing and performing actual labor functions. HR will meet with orientation interns bi-weekly to discuss their progress and get feedback. HR will conduct an exit interview and interns will submit a one page essay on their experience
  • Operation Intern - In the operation phase, KMA will assign the intern to work with an exempt team member for 12 weeks. During the operation phase, interns will be given minor tasks and will assist with larger tasks and projects. At the end of the internship, interns will submit a written report and will receive an intern evaluation from their assigned exempt team member. Department heads will review intern reports and evaluations and select only those with high potential for success to return for the skills phase. HR will meet with operation interns monthly to discuss progress and feedback.
  • Skills Intern – Select interns will be invited to return for the third phase in which they will be assigned to a department and given more specific and complex tasks or projects for a period of 12 weeks. . HR will meet with operation interns monthly to discuss progress and feedback. At the end of this phase the department head where the intern was assigned will prepare an evaluation of the intern and each intern will make a 15 – 20 minute PowerPoint presentation to all department heads summing up their entire experience.

QA Engineering Analyst
Job Summary
To identify and communicate quality improvement opportunities with new and existing KMA products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interface with sales companies and dealer network in order to quickly identify and communicate field issues to their respective production or quality control contacts
  • Analyze warranty data to detect trends and identify changing points
  • Analyze returned warranty parts to determine failure mode and countermeasure
  • Research warranty problems of similar machines to see likely areas of concern for new products (Repeat Problem Log)
  • Issue non-conforming parts notices to appropriate suppliers and opportunities to drive improvements
  • Complete purchase orders to send necessary parts to sales companies
  • Create bulletins for improvements or corrections to field units (technical bulletins)
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate on Spring and Fall dealer support programs
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Must be able to set priorities and keep up with several concurrent projects
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Detail oriented - capable of finding the small problems and the big problems alike

Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as required. Some travel may be required with little notice
Work Environment
Typical office environment but must be able to visit and work in shop environments which may include exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust, fumes, noise, etc.

HR Analyst
Job Summary
Assist management with administering company policies and benefits fairly and consistently; ensure that team members are paid accurately and on-time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support in all functional areas of Human Resources in a production environment by complying with employments laws and company guidelines
  • Provide coaching and consulting with all levels of team members including management to maximize performance and engagement
  • Effectively manage high level team member's relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Facilitate training, including new hire orientation; conduct leadership training and development for management
  • Partner with management on the performance management process
  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment and selection processes for exempt and non-exempt team members. Assist with identifying and recruiting candidates by utilizing full cycle recruiting techniques for exempt and skilled technical positions. Coach management on interviewing techniques and legal requirements. Ensure compliance with pre-employment screening process
  • Liaison with staffing agencies and other vendors/customers
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Minimum of 0 to 5 years HR Generalist experience
  • Preferred Bilingual (English-Spanish: write,speak)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred or equivalent work experience required
  • Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with all levels of team members including management level
  • Proven ability to partner across cross-functional teams to accomplish objectives
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to support the production environment, which may include extended hours or occasional Saturdays
