IT Business & Project Analyst
Position Summary
Safely and efficiently acts as the liaison between business users and IT developers and will assist with the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning program (LX/BPCS). This position supports both KMA and KIE operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supports end-user requests related to system changes and coordinates within IT framework to ensure effective use of current IT systems.
  • Meets with customers to gather and document effective business requirements and communicate the information to the appropriate IT groups.
  • Maps and analyzes end-to- end business processes within third party and proprietary systems as well as integration with the standard LX/BPCS software.
  • Implements and coordinates with internal IT contractors all new systems and enhancements with appropriate testing, change management and communication with minimal rework.
  • Could also be asked to develop test plans, support documentation and training material for supported systems.

IT Help Desk Support
Position Summary
In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal users. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company’s PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT help desk.
  • Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority.
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation.
  • Utilize and maintain the help desk tracking software.
  • Document internal procedures.
  • Assist with on-boarding of new users.
  • Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment.

Position Summary
Mid-level electrical technician who safely performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as installation, maintenance and repair of equipment and/or machinery.

Maintenance Electrical Technician
Position Summary
Senior-level electrical technician who safely and independently plans and performs all electrical operations necessary to include installation and repair of control panels and associated components, relays, motors and switches.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Independently plans and performs all operations necessary to modify, repair and maintain complicated machinery and electrical systems while training and supporting other less experienced technicians to do the same.
  • Installs, calibrates, repairs and maintains electrical components and electrical systems of equipment and/or machinery. Deep understanding of relays, motors and switches.
  • Works with PLC's; troubleshoots, interprets and writes ladder logic.
  • Works with sketches, drawings, schematics, hydraulic diagrams, wiring diagrams or written instructions to perform work. Completes wiring sketches as needed or required.
  • Interprets and applies a variety of technical instructions.
  • Safely and successfully calculates Watts, Volts, Amps, OHMS and electrical loads; able to teach others to do the same. Works with high voltage (480) and High Amp (4,000) systems as needed.
  • Independently maintains conveyors, paint systems and chemical process as well as troubleshoots and diagnoses lasers and robots, where applicable.

  • Actively supports the development of technicians within the maintenance team, especially in the areas of PLCs and electrical systems.

Manufacturing Engineer
Position Summary
Designs, develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develops manufacturing processes with the primary focus being operator safety by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing robust manufacturing processes through application of poke yoke solutions to avoid quality issues, and where necessary, designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
  • Improves manufacturing productivity by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout in accordance with Kubota's 5-Gen Principles.
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
  • Manages project related activities in a transparent way for new programs or changes to existing programs. Scope including but not limited to timing, budgets, design details, team coordination, quotations, vendor procurement coordination.

Implements Design Engineer
Position Summary
Designs, develops and tests new products for North America Loader Implement (NALI) Group.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Senior Engineer and Assistant Manager with new product development.
  • Support current products: ECN's, drawings, approval drawings, etc.
  • Create reports showing the results of tests, meetings, and dealer surveys.
  • Study current production methods, welding processes, and part materials to implement cost reductions and product improvements.
  • Participate in dealer and product surveys to conduct market research to obtain information to improve current products and evaluate the need for new products.
  • Communicate with tractor team in Japan.
  • Supervise shop personnel and temporary field test personnel in the testing and evaluation of prototype models.

Occupational Nurse
Position Summary
The occupational nurse will be responsible for providing day to day first aid, oversight of work related restrictions, workers compensation, OSHA record keeping, and wellness programs for team members. The occupational nurse will work to implement preventative measures that ensure the health and wellbeing of team members.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations
  • Responsible for securing and developing all records, equipment, and programs related to occupational health services
  • Manage work related injuries in accordance to OSHA regulations
  • Manage all occupational injury cases
  • Assess healthcare needs and facilitate return to work programs
  • Assist departments with identifying, evaluating, and implementing accommodations and return to work options for workers with restricted duty
  • Assist in ensuring employee compliance with employee work restrictions, light duty and return to work programs
  • Collaborate and coordinate all referrals with outside resources, such as healthcare providers, third-party administrators, legal advisors, regulatory agencies, etc., as needed to facilitate productivity, assuring appropriate care and return to work

Safety Analyst
Position Summary
Lead the efforts to implement and sustain safety process for Kubota. Put strategic plans in place that will reduce workplace injuries to include the installation and maintenance of a behavioral based safety system. Conduct daily, weekly and monthly departmental and facility audits to ensure the safest working environment for the company and the employees. Conduct and coordinate all safety and related activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure annual OSHA compliance to include all reporting, contractor compliance, plan documentation, training and safety records.
  • Facilitator to safety activities.
  • Recommends change in policies and procedures for required safety programs.
  • Maintain safety and training records to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 programs.
  • Investigates both near miss and work related injuries, prepares reports to include PDCA process corrective actions and communicates via mandatory safety flash.
  • Perform hazard analysis/abatement reviews.
  • Provide safety communications (postings, employee meetings, etc.)
  • PPE Management to include assessments, availability of supplies, vendor management and support.
  • Provide New Hire Orientation support for safety related topics.
  • Compile and submit various Federal and State reporting including OSHA 300 Log.
  • Analyze and interpret scientific and legal documents including Chapters 29 Code of Federal Regulations for presentation.
  • Participate in government inspections from OSHA or other relevant agencies.
  • Perform investigational studies for exposure requirements that require the use of mathematical concepts and sampling theory. Concepts utilized include variance, statistical permutations, and logarithmic and exponential equations.
  • SDS Management.
  • New equipment installation safety check-off.
  • Supports and complies with established Company’s Corporate Principles.
  • Performs special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • H.S. Diploma.
  • English language competency including demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; ability to compose, edit and proofread documents.
  • Ability to work under critical time-lines, re-evaluate priorities and interact in cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little to no oversight.
  • Ability to analyze and comprehend complex data.
  • 5 years of experience (preferred in a production and heavy machining facility).

Position Summary
The engineer will work on all Kubota products from the point of testing new products (models) through the manufacturing process. This engineer will be challenged to find problems, determine the root cause and provide solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Senior Engineer and Assistant Manager with new product development
  • Support current products: ECN's, drawings, approval drawings, etc.
  • Create reports showing the results of tests, meetings, and dealer surveys.

Tool Designer
Position Summary
Support Manufacturing Engineers by completing detailed design work of tools, jigs and fixtures. Work with in-house resources to produce the tool/jig/fixture.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Studies specifications, engineering blueprints, tool orders, and shop data and confers with engineering and shop personnel to resolve design problems related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, manufacturing procedures, and cost
  • Selects standard items, such as bushings, bearings and other hardware to incorporate into tool design
  • Draws preliminary sketches, layouts and detailed drawings using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software
  • Modifies tool designs according to trials, tests and feedback from engineering, logistics or manufacturing with the objective to improve safety, quality, productivity or uptime
  • Add details to conceptual designs of tools, jigs, fixtures, carts and other related equipment. Including but not limited to 3D models, 2D prints, BOMs and materials lists
  • Coordinate procurement of devices through quoting, bid evaluation, negotiation and follow-up until successful implementation of the device in production
