Maintenance Analyst
Position Summary
Safely and efficiently supports Maintenance functions including compiling departmental metrics, controlling inventory and procurement and performing administrative support functions for maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supports facility maintenance with HVAC, heaters, switch gears (electrical), fire extinguisher/ exit lights, dock & high speed doors, alarm systems (sprinkler/fire), water coolers, insurance audit, and backflow city water inspections.
  • Supports mechanical maintenance with ovens & boilers (Industrial), hoist & cranes, equipment parts/electrical repair, industrial air cleaning equipment, create/modify PM's, waste water sludge press, welding equipment repair and cylinder repair.
  • Monitors and reports the yearly budget, new equipment requests, invoices and payments.

Maintenance Electrical
Position Summary
Mid-level electrical technician who safely performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as installation, maintenance and repair of equipment and/or machinery.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of electrical functions to include installation, maintenance and repair of equipment. Troubleshoots electrical systems including relays, motors and switches.
  • With support, safely works with high voltage and high amps.
  • Calculates Watts, Volts, Amps, OHMS and electrical loads.
  • Successfully monitors and navigates PLCs and automated systems, ability to interpret ladder logic.

Maintenance Electrical Technician
Position Summary
Senior-level electrical technician who safely and independently plans and performs all electrical operations necessary to include installation and repair of control panels and associated components, relays, motors and switches.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Independently plans and performs all operations necessary to modify, repair and maintain complicated machinery and electrical systems while training and supporting other less experienced technicians to do the same.
  • Installs, calibrates, repairs and maintains electrical components and electrical systems of equipment and/or machinery. Deep understanding of relays, motors and switches.
  • Works with PLC's; troubleshoots, interprets and writes ladder logic.
  • Works with sketches, drawings, schematics, hydraulic diagrams, wiring diagrams or written instructions to perform work. Completes wiring sketches as needed or required.
  • Interprets and applies a variety of technical instructions.
  • Safely and successfully calculates Watts, Volts, Amps, OHMS and electrical loads; able to teach others to do the same. Works with high voltage (480) and High Amp (4,000) systems as needed.
  • Independently maintains conveyors, paint systems and chemical process as well as troubleshoots and diagnoses lasers and robots, where applicable.

Manufacturing Engineer
Position Summary
Designs, develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develops manufacturing processes with the primary focus being operator safety by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing robust manufacturing processes through application of poke yoke solutions to avoid quality issues, and where necessary, designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
  • Improves manufacturing productivity by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout in accordance with Kubota's 5-Gen Principles.

Safety Analyst
Position Summary
Lead the efforts to implement and sustain safety process for Kubota. Put strategic plans in place that will reduce workplace injuries to include the installation and maintenance of a behavioral based safety system. Conduct daily, weekly and monthly departmental and facility audits to ensure the safest working environment for the company and the employees. Conduct and coordinate all safety and related activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure annual OSHA compliance to include all reporting, contractor compliance, plan documentation, training and safety records.
  • Facilitator to safety activities.
  • Recommends change in policies and procedures for required safety programs.
  • Maintain safety and training records to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 programs.
  • Investigates both near miss and work related injuries, prepares reports to include PDCA process corrective actions and communicates via mandatory safety flash.
  • Perform hazard analysis/abatement reviews.

Position Summary

Reliability Engineer
Position Summary
Originate and develop analysis methods of determining reliability of components, equipment and processes. Collects data and analyzes data.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations and reports for defining reliability problems and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Conducts analysis of reliability problems and investigates root cause and countermeasures considering the cost limitations for equipment up/down time, repair/ replacement cost, weight, size and availability of materials and/or equipment.
  • Completes cost studies and investment requests as needed.
  • Initiates engineering studies into equipment/process failures and presents details of the analysis.
  • Develops plans and procedures for repair and/or replacement of equipment.

Turf Engineering of America (R&D) Engineer
Position Summary
Designs and develops new products.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Senior Engineer and Assistant Manager with new product development
  • Support current products: ECN's, drawings, approval drawings, etc.
  • Create reports showing the results of tests, meetings, and dealer surveys.
  • Study current production methods, welding processes, and part materials to implement cost reductions and product improvements.
  • Participate in dealer and product surveys to conduct market research to improve current products and evaluate the need for new products.
  • Supervise shop personnel and temporary field test personnel in the testing and evaluation of prototype models
  • Travel as necessary to participate in dealer surveys, dealer meetings, and division support.
  • Completes implementation of new or revised processes by training technicians.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Technical Publications Analyst
Position Summary
The job purpose is to safely and effectively support the assembly of training documents and publications.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Author/writer on assigned products
  • Responsible for creating and providing service information and training materials, such as Workshop manual, Flat-rate schedule, Maintenance chart, Operator’s manual, new product training materials and service training materials etc., of products produced by Kubota Manufacturing of America Corporation/Kubota Industrial Equipment Corporation to the distributors
  • Provide the service staff in distributors with new product and service training
  • Respond to inquiries from distributors and provide information properly to ensure adequate service
  • Engage in concurrent engineering for service such as serviceability and maintainability in each step of new product development
  • Develop Special Tools "electrical and/or mechanical service tools" and support equipment to aid in the correct diagnosis and repair of products
  • Research, identify and create illustrations/animations for service publications

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required (preference in Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences, or Business related degree)
