Phase 1
Onboarding Intern
In the orientation phase, interns will embark on a 12-week journey in one of the Gemba areas, immersing in logistics or manufacturing and actively participating in real labor functions. HR will meet with orientation interns bi-weekly, fostering discussions about progress and seeking feedback for a supportive experience. The conclusion involves an exit interview that enables interns to summarize their unique experiences in a one-page essay. We look forward to welcoming you to this engaging learning experience!
Phase 2
Operation Intern
During the operation phase, interns work closely with exempt team members for 12 weeks, participating in diverse tasks, projects, and making valuable contributions. Monthly HR meetings guarantee continuous support, progress discussions, and feedback sessions. At the internship’s end, you’ll present insights in a report and receive a personalized evaluation from your exempt team member. Department heads will review reports, selecting high-potential interns for the skills phase. We’re excited about your journey with us!
Phase 3
Skills Intern
Select interns will receive an invitation to return for the third phase, where they’ll be assigned to a department, tackling more specific and complex tasks or projects over a 12-week period. Monthly HR meetings ensure continuous support and feedback for our valued interns. At the phase’s conclusion, the department head will prepare an evaluation, and each intern will share their enriching journey with a 15-20 minute PowerPoint presentation to all department heads. We look forward to your continued involvement in this exciting phase!
