• KMA’s New Manufacturing Facility is Officially Open

    Press Release –

GAINESVILLE, GA (June 24, 2025) – Kubota Manufacturing of America (KMA) held a grand opening for its latest plant in northeast Hall County at 3655 Kubota Way. This $190 million plant will focus on producing front-end loaders and is expected to employ approximately 500 people when fully operational.

The grand opening at the 700,000 square-foot facility marked by a traditional Japanese sake barrel ceremony, symbolizing a new beginning. Among those present were Kubota (KBT) President Yuichi Kitao and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, who joined various state and local dignitaries for the inauguration.

Kubota Vice President Ryan Owen highlighted the plant’s cutting-edge technology, describing it as the company’s most advanced facility with increased automation for improved safety and quality.

Gov. Kemp praised the plant’s role in creating jobs – particularly in rural Georgia – and acknowledged the crucial contributions of international partners like Kubota. The governor playfully encouraged further expansion, which drew laughter from the crowd.

Kubota’s presence in Georgia is significant, with a substantial workforce dedicated to various operations. The company maintains a strong base in Hall County, where a large portion of its employees are located across multiple facilities. This new plant further solidifies Kubota’s commitment to the region’s economic growth and manufacturing sector.

The new facility is situated next to a 502,000 square-foot plant that opened in 2017 and is across the road from a $90 million research and development facility that began operations in 2022.
